The „Dark Pattern Detection-Project” (dapde) hosts a two-day interdisciplinary conference on Dark Patterns:
„Defusing Dark Patterns – current technical and legal approaches"
The event takes place on November 10/11th and together with researchers, industry representatives and consumer advocates examines the status quo regarding Dark Patterns. In particular, the conference highlights the problems regarding the use of dark patterns as well as possible legal and technical solutions to it.
The total of 5 panels is held on two consecutive afternoons (3:00-7:00 p.m. CET). Subsequently, participants have the chance to meet selected panelists and ask questions in smaller groups.
